This page explains what information we collect when you visit theretainerkit.com, request the free template or buy The Retainer Kit, and what we do with it. The site and the kit are run by Mateus Renner, an individual based in Brazil (“we”, “us”). Contact: [email protected].
The short version
- This site sets no cookies and runs no analytics or tracking scripts.
- Payments and downloads go through Gumroad. We never see your card details.
- We use your email to deliver what you asked for, and nothing else unless you agree.
What we collect
- Free template. When you request the free monthly report template, Gumroad collects your email address (and your name, if you give it) through a $0 checkout and shares it with us so the file can be delivered.
- Purchases. Purchases are processed by Gumroad as merchant of record. They collect your name, email, billing address and payment details, and their checkout terms and privacy policy apply to that payment data. We receive your name, email, country and order details.
- Emails you send us. If you write to us, we keep your message and address so we can reply.
No cookies, no analytics
This site is plain HTML and CSS. It sets no cookies, runs no analytics, and loads no third-party fonts, scripts or images. The Gumroad checkout is a separate site and may set its own cookies; their policy covers those.
How we use it
- To deliver the kit or the free template, and to handle support and refund requests.
- To send you free updates to the version you bought.
- To meet tax and accounting obligations.
We won't send you marketing email unless you explicitly agree to it. We don't sell your personal information.
Who else handles it
- Gumroad: checkout, payments, receipts and file delivery.
- Cloudflare: hosts this site. Like any web host, it processes technical data such as your IP address to serve pages and protect against abuse.
- Our email provider, for messages you send us.
Each of these companies has its own privacy policy.
How long we keep it
We keep order records for as long as tax and accounting rules require, and emails for as long as we need them to help you. You can ask us to delete your information sooner wherever the law allows.
Your rights and data requests
You can ask to see, correct, export or delete your personal information, or object to how we use it, by emailing [email protected]. We'll answer within 15 days. Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR in the EU and UK, Brazil's LGPD, or California law) you may have further rights, and you can complain to your local data protection authority.
Changes
If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
